On Saturday evening, a crew of 7 went in to City Station 1 to stand-by for them while they were holding their annual awards banquet.

A Engine crew of 4 (Cross staffing Engine 12 and Rescue Engine 11), a Ambulance crew of 2 (For Ambulance 19/Brush 15), and Chief Harne (Running as Duty 1) started the shift before 1700. We were also running with members of the New Market District Co, 15 (Staffing Ambulance 18), and the Walkersville VFC Co. 11 and Rescue Co. 24 (Staffing Tower 1) until 0600 Sunday morning.

Engine 12 and Tower 1 started off the evening with a AAF before 1700. Other calls ran by stand-by crews included....

- Ambulance call

- Ambulance call - Injured person from sledding accident. RE-11, Duty 1 and Medic 2 alerted to assist. RE crew established hauling system to remove patient from icy area.

- Ambulance call - Tower 1 added to assist with Medical local

- Box Alarm - E-12 and Duty 1 responded on Box and assisted with investigation odor in the building. RE-11 added to run to replace Engine Co. 50.

The members of the MVFC would like to thank the membership of the Independent Hose for the invite. The food was good as always, and everyone on the stand-by had a great time.
