On Friday afternoon, Frederick County ECC received a request for a Engine to transfer to Jefferson County WV. With numerous other Companies out on other runs or unavailable, Engine Company 7 was dispatched.

Engine 72 with 5 responded on the run. After a long and slow trip , they arrived at Sub-Station 5 (Blue Ridge Mountain VFC #5) on Mission Road. The crew stayed until 21:33 hours, and returned to Middletown.

Apparently most of Jefferson County units were committed on a house fire during that period.
