Chimney Fire in the First Due - 2606 Old National Pike

On Monday the 11Th, Structure Assignment 7-10 was alerted for the possible chimney fire at 2606 Old National Pike. Engine 72, Tanker 7 and the D/C (Loveless) responded with 7.

Engine 72 arrived on the scene with an active chimney fire, and started with interior operations. Chief 7-1 arrived and assumed Command from the Engine Officer. Crews from 72 and Washington Truck Co. 6 worked on getting the fire knocked.

Units were placed in service at 19:57 hours. A additional Engine and Ambulance crew stood by at the Station.
