Ambulance 79 is a Basic Life Support Ambulance. It carries the normal BLS equipment and a Zoll Autopulse device.

Serves as Command Vehicle for the Fire Chief

Serves as secondary Command Vehicle for Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief and Qualified Duty Officers (Captains and Lieutenants) .

Carries numerous equipment fire Wildland/Brush fires including ATV 7. Is part of the Frederick County Wildland Firefighting Team.
